Parks & Rec. East Hartford

Ted Fravel was appointed the Director of East Hartford Parks and Recreation in March 2012. Prior to East Hartford he spent over 25 years with the Newington Parks & Recreation Department. He has also spent many years coaching the youth of the community. His background also includes high school and college officiating, playing and coaching.

Under Ted’s leadership East Hartford completed many recreational projects such as Tennis Courts at the High School, Playscape on Town Green, Basketball Courts Hockanum School, Terry Pool Swings, Pool Deck Drennan and Golf Couse Paths at East Hartford Golf Course.

I am sure Ted will fill in other details about his own background as well as other accomplishments in East Hartford besides taking about the Senior Center.
